POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING FOCUS Responsible – I will participate in all class activities |
From Deputy Principal
I would like to welcome Luke Ferdinands to the St George SHS. Luke will take up his position as Acting Principal on Monday while York is away. Luke started his career in Chinchilla where he spent five years and met his wife, Kylie, also a teacher. They managed to travel around some parts of western QLD, including St George and Dirranbandi during this time. Luke has also worked in other schools such as Aspley, Mitchelton, Pine Rivers and Ferny Grove SHS.
Tonight the musical The Adams Family hits the stage. Congratulations to all of the staff and students involved in producing this event.
I am also very proud of the way the Year 12 students have conducted themselves during this time of external exams. Congratulations Year 12’s, you are all doing great.
Good Luck to the Year 11 students for next week as they start their exams.
Ms Nicole Hyland
